Show the Gear. Earn the Confidence.
Clean presentation helps buyers assess valuable equipment. Accurate evidence earns their trust. A phone camera, daylight and a clear background are enough.
Trusted Club-System Rental Providers
BOOTH-approved rental operators can use labeled manufacturer images without uploading actual equipment photos for each standard club-system rental. They must confirm cleaning, checks and complete inventory before handoff. Optional actual photos are reviewed if supplied. Sales, combined sale-and-rental listings, modified systems and systems with known functional issues still need original equipment photos. Approval is managed by BOOTH and does not certify any individual unit.
Your Required Shot List
- Complete equipment: show the entire unit, both speakers, or every player and mixer in the package. Keep the horizon straight and the background uncluttered.
- Connections and controls: show the rear panel, ports, faders and relevant controls sharply enough to inspect. Add powered-on photographs where appropriate.
- Everything included: lay out and count cables, cases, scrims, hoses and accessories. Do not stage extra equipment that is not included.
- Wear and known faults: add close-ups of scratches, paintwork, damaged controls and repair areas. Describe issues that photographs cannot demonstrate.
Photo Quality Review
Use even lighting, natural color, full framing and an uncluttered neutral background. Aim for at least 1,600 pixels on the long edge. Upload JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 5 MB per image and 12 images per listing. Avoid blurry screenshots, collages, heavy filters, promotional text and distracting watermarks.
BOOTH reviewers approve each actual photo before the listing can go live. Reviewers may ask for replacement photos. Approval checks presentation and consistency; it does not certify equipment performance or ownership.
Manufacturer Reference vs. Actual Equipment
A clearly labeled manufacturer reference can lead a standard, matching product listing. It shows the model, not the used item. Actual equipment photos are still required and appear inside the listing. Reference imagery does not imply an affiliation with the manufacturer.
Custom-painted or visibly modified equipment must use actual photos as its cover. Do not digitally repaint a stock image, remove scratches or disguise missing parts. Crop and adjust exposure only when the result stays faithful to the item.
